Hospice Taranaki provides a full range of palliative care services to the people of the Taranaki province. Te Rangimarie is the in-patient unit located in New Plymouth, however a comprehensive community service is available throughout the province, in some areas in liaison with the District Nursing service. Hospice Taranaki services include medical, nursing, spiritual and social support to more than 400 patients and their families each year through its team of over 50 staff and in excess of 350 volunteers.
